Local Drug Action Team (LDAT) Programs
IndianCare successfully implemented 2 LDAT projects - the Western LDAT (WAAT) and South East Action Team (SEAT), funded by The Alcohol and Drug Foundation, in 2019- 2020. These evidence-informed, preventative, community-led programs are a collaboration of 10 partners, led by IndianCare, that co-designed and implemented Community Action Plans tailored to the local area needs. Partners included Australian Multicultural Community Services (AMCS) and Southern Migrant and Refugee Centre (SMRC). Our community partners were Club 60 Seniors group, Brothers and Sisters Foundation, SEWA, Indian Senior Citizen Association of Casey (ISCAC), Wyndham Social Cricket League and Bellfield Cricket Club.
